Our First Stallion at Penn Ridge Farms
Champion bloodlines arrived in Pennsylvania with Real Quiet. The son of Quiet American still has a major impact on Pennsylvania racing and Penn Ridge Farms. He leaves a legacy of horses that includes Midnight Lute, Pussycat Doll, and Norman Asbjornson. His racing resume consisted of impressive wins such as the 1998 Kentucky Derby, 1998 Preakness Stakes, Hollywood Futurity, Hollywood Gold Cup and Pimlico Special.In 2007 Real Quiet arrived at Penn Ridge Farms for his 2008 season as the first stallion to stand at the farm. From 11 crops he left behind 657 foals who continue to carry his memory on the racetrack. He holds a special place in the hearts of his fans and everyone who had the honor of working with him at Penn Ridge. He is greatly missed and always remembered.
