“My vision and dream of a beautiful, safe, and professional facility for Thoroughbreds has materialized at Penn Ridge Farms,” Mike reflects. “Along with the facilities, which are the finest in the state, I’ve assembled a team of professionals who offer nearly a century of experience in stallion and broodmare management.”
“We’re all excited about Flashy Bull joining Uptowncharlybrown, Messner and Monba in our stallion barn. Bringing these accomplished stallions to the Pennsylvania breeding program will provide a exceptional opportunity for mare owners.”
“I believe that our superb facility and this impressive stallion roster offer the best choice for breeders wanting to keep their mares in the state to become eligible for our lucrative PA breeding and racing program. We offer seasonal boarding and foaling and also provide exceptional care at our facilities for year-round residents.”

Born on the DuPont estate in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, where his father worked as farm manager, Chuck King has worked with Thoroughbreds all his life. He operated his own boarding and training facility, Foxwatcher, and has a well-earned reputation as one of the region’s finest horsemen. Foxwatcher was home to the pensioned stallion Two Davids and also Tricky Mister, the latter of whom now serves as a teaser at Penn Ridge.
Chuck started working with Michael Jester in December of 2007. “I’m very proud of the stallions at Penn Ridge. What a great group of sires we have here!”
